K2 SideStash Ski

Live in Bend, OR, ski Mt. Bachelor A LOT, plus various other PNW mountains. Frankly, with a FT job and two boys, I don't get the chance to ski the sidecountry as much as I used to, but try to get away with as much as I can inbounds. Looking for a ski to bridge the gap betweem the front and the side. Basically looking for the elusive one-ski quiver, or as close to it as I can get. Am 5' 11", 175 lbs., aggressive/advanced skier who would ski pow all day if I could, next trees, but given location and life station need something that can also plow through the usual chopped-up Cascade Cement on the front. Any thoughts on the whether the SideStash will fit bill? Also considering the Vokl Mantra, Blilzzard Cochise and Salomon Twenty Twelve. Could be convinced to go a different direction though.

Black Diamond Starlet Ski - Women's

I am 5'5" 135 lbs. and not sure what size ski to get. 156 or 166? I am leaning toward the the 166 since I will be carring enough weight to put me firmly in this weight category, but also don't want to get stuck with too much ski. I am an intermediate skiier looking to spend more time in the backcountry as I get older and wiser. I am not used to skiing on wide skiis so I am nervous about taking the jump. Right now I am skiing Dynstar158s that are 66 under foot or I have old Tuas 168s that are 70 under foot.

Black Diamond Starlet Ski - Women's

The Starlets look awesome for touring but I'm a little lady and I'm wondering if I will feel a lack of control and stability in anything except fluffy powder. I'm 5'2", 100 lbs, and I ski everything in all conditions. I am looking for skis that would be ideal for both backcountry touring and ski mountaineering purposes, so light is important, but so is control, especially since conditions can sometimes be unpredictable. I typically ski ~160cm and I heard these ski short, so I was considering the 166cm. Should I go shorter? Will there be stability/control issues in anything short of perfect pow? Any advice or feedback would be appreciated!
