I usually have to unbuckle, pull the webbing, then force the buckles together to get a truly snug fit. I wish they would have a better design for cinching down the waistbelt. The design on my Kelty Redcloud is great - there&#39;s a metal clip/ring that&#39;s swen on to the hipbelt about 5 inches from the buckle.
