Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon STS Skins

I have purchased a set of Glidelite STS 60mm for a pair of Fisher Touring Crowns. They measure 58-50-52 but the tip clamp seems too wide to grab even when turned over- it just slides down the ski. I haven't attached it to the skin yet, maybe this will take care of it?

Black Diamond Ascension Nylon STS Skins

Hi,

I have a question about what brand, type and width of skins to use. They will mostly be used for skinning up ski trails to access upper trails in Maine after the ski area is closed and for some skinning on Mt. Washington. I'm thinking corn, ice, wind blown conditions but maybe a little powder if I'm lucky. I have volkl Bridges with a Marker Duke AT binding. Ski length is 169 and dimension are 130-92-112.

Thanks for your time and help!

Bob

The skins would not have to be trimmed and I would have some edge exposed for security. I recently borrowed a pair of much narrower skins for the killowatts and they worked well. What do you think?
