The North Face Sentinel Thermal Softshell Jacket - Men's

It seems there have been some mixed reviews about the warmth of this jacket...
I am looking for a solid multipurpose softshell jacket that will keep me warm in cold temperatures (lets say around 15-20F) but won't get me sweating near 60F. I'd like it to be a North Face as well.

Anyone have any suggestions of comparable jackets to the Sentinel Thermal but possibly warmer? Not the apex bionic tho...
Thanks!

The North Face Sentinel Thermal Softshell Jacket - Men's

Does anybody know of gloves made of similar material? I love this jacket! Ordered a pair of black diamond windstopper gloves but I'll be returning them soon. They don't repel water, are fuzzy and less than windproof the seams are single stitched. The air goes right through. I'd like a pair that have the same exterior as the jacket. Something that matches. Any suggestions?

Mountain Hardwear Transition Super Power Softshell Jacket - Men's

How does this compare to the Transition? What are the differences (besides the pockets and the hood)? Which one is warmer, more durable, breathes better and more water resistant? Basically, which is a better jacket. Don't care that the Super Power has no hood, I'd rather have 2 side pockets (I can wear a cap)? I'm debating between the two, which is a better running jacket for the cold.

Mountain Hardwear Alchemy Softshell Jacket - Men's

I am in the market for my first softshell. I am considering TNF Apex Bionic, Marmot Ultima or the MHW Alchemy. I would be using it for chilly runs and mountain biking in NE Kansas during the winters. I spend summers in Glacier National Park. If you have been, you know what the weather can be like up there. If you've got a little advice, please help me out. I'd love to hear your opinion.

Cloudveil Firsturn Softshell Jacket - Men's

This is a sincere question: just how good can a shell jacket get? For those of us who've been around a bit, we've probably all collected a number of jackets. Maybe they've been getting a little stretchier, a little quieter, but, from my perspective, I'm finding it hard to rationalize upgrading.
