Kelty No-Bug Net for Kid Carriers

there is the UV protector mesh product as well as this no-bug net for the Kelty KIDS carriers, but the material used is not listed. is it also the 600D poly / mesh fabric like this no-bug net? The size of the UV is shorter than the no-bug net. However nothing tells me if the no-bug net will also protect against UV! The product pictures look exactly the same, though - not good. So what is the fabric of the no-bug net and will it protect against UV rays the same as the UV net?

Sherpani Rumba Backcountry Kid Carrier

I used a back carrier for a while with my daughter. She is now 3 years old, 35 pounds, and 3ft 1 inch. I am really skeptical about making a purchase and finding out that it's just as good as the one she outgrew. So, can anyone answer if a long preschooler (not infant or toddler) can truly go on a hike or walk with one of these and not have their feet fall asleep, be uncomfortable (especially with length), and not have it hurt the person carrying it? This is where we are only currently with old one since she grew. Thanks.
