Hi, I just got my carrier and am happy to say my baby likes it!

Kelty Transit 3.0 Kid Carrier - 1300cu in

Hi, I just got my carrier and am happy to say my baby likes it! This is the first carrier he hasn't cried in. But here's the problem: it kills my upper back! I'm 5'4" so I have the lumbar set pretty high. It feels like none of the weight is on my hips though, which I would expect from any sort of backpack, as it's the most safe for your back. All the weight is pulling on my shoulders and upper back. Any recommendations on how to adjust it to make it more comfortable?

Kelty Frame Sun/Rain Hood for Kid Carrier

Will this fit the 2010 Kelty FC 1.0 carrier? I read many reviews that say it does not, despite the manufacturer's claim that it does. I called Kelty. They have no clue what to recommend, and they don't carry the 2010 hoods anymore.

Deuter Kid Comfort II Carrier

What model is actually being sold here? Is this the 2011? I have one made in 2010n and hate how the zipper on the bag sticks and there is no chin pad, have read zipper is better now and now has chin pad - but I thought the newest one had a button on the kick stand? This one looks different than mine (mine is a lighter blue) but there is no button on the kick stand. (I don't really want the button but would like the zipper to work better and have a chin pad)

Kelty FC 3.0 Kid Carrier - 1150cu in

I am in the process of returning a Sherpani Light. Straps above the leg stirrups on that carrier chaffed my child's legs. I see a strap running along the side of this carrier. Has anyone had issues with this chaffing their kid's legs (taller kids whose feet would fall below the level of this strap) ?
