I assume the grips and ferrules are held on with a heat sensitive glue so is heating with hot water sufficient or do I need a heat gun? Does it matter if I cut it off at the grip end or the tip? What kind of glue to use to reinstall? Will Exel glue work or does Swix require some proprietary stuff.
