My current running shoes leave my socks sopping wet from early morning runs through grass filled with dew. If not these, does anyone have recommendations for somewhat waterproof running shoes?

La Sportiva Wildcat Trail Running Shoe - Women's

I've been running in the Brooks Cascadia and am looking for something with a lower profile but a similar level of cushioning and lateral stability (both sides). I'm really curious about these Wildcats but they aren't in the running stores near where I live. Can someone comment on how low to the ground they are compared to the Cascadia or the Fireblade? Also, are the soles flexible -- do they bend when you toe off or stay straight like hiking shoes do? Thanks in advance for your insights.
