Scarpa SL M3 Backpacking Boots - Men's

BREATHABILITY? do other people have problems with breathability in these boots? waterproofness is not a problem, rather the buildup of moisture from internal sweating- resulting in damp socks and damp lining - even still now as winter approaches.

do other people with years of experiences in these boots have same problems with breathability have tips for solutions?

Kayland Contact Boot - Men's

These look and appear to be great boots after reading the plentiful reviews... here's my problem, I wear a size 14, firm. I have so much trouble finding any decent boots in my sizing. My feet aren't overly wide, they're are just a full 14. I cannot get by with any size 13 without severe pain especially in my big toe/other toes. I usually end up wearing basketball shoes all the time, but this does not work out for long backpacking trips in inclement weather. Does anyone know of a shoe that will fit me?! This has been going on for years, and with the emergence of larger people in many cultures, I can't believe shoe companies still only go to size 13, but they do. I have been dealing with this since junior high, and it's is so frustrating. I am 6' 4" and 210 lbs., what size shoe do they expect me to wear? Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Vasque Zephyr II Hiking Boot - Men's

Does this boot work well with strap-on crampons? I am going to Mexico to hike/climb up the Izta and Orizaba Volcanoes and will need cramp-ons on the last part of the routes on summit day. (only on Orizaba is there any long stretch of steep ice/snow with extensive runout) I want to carry only one pair of boots for everything. (including shorter acclimation hikes at lower elevations without any snow or ice). I already have the boots and they have proven to be completely waterproof even when submerged a few inches. I want to be sure crampons are ok with this boot, I have zero experience with crampons.

thx
