Dynastar Legend Mythic Rider Alpine Ski

I'm 5'9" and 150lbs, improving advanced intermediate skier and am looking at these for my everyday ski. Do you recommend the 172 or 178? I am leaning towards the 178 for the length and stability, but want to make sure that the length difference isn't going to make bumps, etc too much to handle. Thanks.

Volkl Mantra Alpine Ski

Hi. I'm looking for some advice on some powder skis that will perform well in all-mountain situations. I curently have one pair of K2 Apache series skis and have narrowed the field down to K2 Coomba and either Volkl Mantra or the Katana. I've never owned a twin-tip, and being 35 yo will probably not become an efficient arialist as I do not enjoy the ER.
Much Thanks.
