I ski mostly in the east (Ontario, Vermont) so conditions are groomed, hard packed, and sometimes icy. I like to go fast and be challenged but feel in control. Also I and am currently training to be a ski patroller. I need to upgrade my skis as the current ones "chatter" too much. Any advice on what skis to demo? Thanks - so little time so many skis....

I ski mostly intermediate blue easy black,I also ski powder that I love but I am not very good at it.I go fast on grooms and make frequent short turns. 40 years skier. My actual skis are shaped Volants 160 centimeters that I love about 10 years old. I think it is time for me to have a new pair of skis. I am a defensive skier as I have seen too many accidents in my life of skiing yet I am also aggressive in good slopes. Are K2 Lotta Luv or Burning Luv for me? If yes, which one or any other skis?
Dynastar Exclusive Legend Powder Alpine Ski

I'm trying to decide on a new pair of skis. I demoed the 08/09 versions of the Dynastar 8000, Mythic Rider and the Pro Legend. The Mythic Rider wasn't lively enough, the Pro Legend was a little too beefy of a ski. I liked the 8000 but it just didn't wow me - it was great in the powder and powered through crud and hauled butt on the groomers but seemed like it could be better. I talked to a woman who raved about her 07 women's Legend Pro Rider but it seems like its pretty wide under foot. I loved the stability at high speeds of all these skis. I'm a woman who is a strong, aggressive skier - I keep up with the big boys in all conditions. I love fresh powder and spend most of my time off the groomed. Anyway, I'm trying to decide between the 8000 and the women's Exclusive Legend Powder and the women's Pro Legend. Any recomendations?
