The North Face Inlux Insulated Jacket - Men's

I have a plus 5" "Ape index" so normally larges just barely fit my arms. Would this be a case where I would need to step up a size? The Large at REI of a similar style Mountain Hardware jacket seemed to fit so just wondering about fit of arms and return policy.

Thanks

Mountain Hardwear Windstopper Insulated Jacket - Men's

I have a Mt Hardwear Offwidth in medium. I'm 5'10" 155 and the fit is perfect everywhere except in the arms which seem short. I thought about going a size up to see if the arms would be longer but then worried the jacket would be too bulky and baggy around the torso. Is this sizing trend true of the windstopper insulated jacket too?
