K2 Mini Turbo Snowboard - Kids'

Okay, I know this sounds nuts, but....
I'm a 50 year old athletic guy, who loves skiing all levels, purely for fun, nothing to prove, and only 10 or less days per year. Loved skiing the old "fatties"—short fat skis, no poles, pure body english. Regular skis blow in comparison. What if I got two of these, made them skis, mounted real ski bindings, and used them for all condition fun boards (100CM)?

Burton Custom Smalls Snowboard - Kids'

Hello, I'd like to buy my son a this board (135) for his birthday. Since the end of the 09' season is near, i'd like to get him something that would be the right size next year - he's growing fast. Currently 4'7" and 75 pounds. Rides mostly Blue runs, some black, and progression parks. Is this the right size/board?
