Lange Banshee W Ski Boot - Women's

Write your question here...I have been skiing for the past three years in a Lange WC120 women's ski boot. LOVED them but they are shot. Can anyone tell me the differrence between the Lange Women's Banshee and the Women's Freeride 110? The Freeride appears to be identical to my WC120's, but the flex is slightly softer, or is it?. Is the Banshee stiffer than all of the boots in question? I hate skiing in a boot that is too soft. You can soften a boot, but you can'y make it stiffer. I hate to make a bad choice on boots and them regret it all season. Also. I like an upright stance in my boot with lateral stiffness. And yes, they need to be Lange...

Tecnica Attiva Pro Ski Boot - Women's

I am an intermediate skiier with somewhat narrow feet. I tried on the Technica Attiva Pro 80 and they still felt a little wide at the front of the foot. They were fine at the heel and calf. The ski shop put in a super feet liner for me. The Attiva Pro 90 fit was narrower and fit better in the front, but I don't want such a stiff, advanced boot. Any suggestions?

Head Skis USA Dream 10.5 Ski Boot - Women's

Rented the Head Dream 10.5 ski boot in size 24.5 and loved the control of the boot and the comfort on the arch and ankles. My only problem was my big toe on both feet hit top of shell and went numb which was pretty uncomfortable. Shop said that could easily be hammered out. I wear a size 8 in street shoes and wonder if the size was wrong? Tried wearing size 25 in the Soloman boot they had and ended up with ankle bruises. Very confused on what size to buy. shop said better to buy a too small a boot than a too large a boot. They could always make a boot a little larger but could not make a boot smaller.

I have been renting equipment from a great ski shop near Sunday River, ME and have finally accepted the fact that my skinny flat feet need to be in their own ski boot home (not even rented women's boots will do) in order for me to increase my performance. I am a high intermediate to low advanced level skier with freakishly long skinny flat feet and narrow calves. Now for my question... I understand that the Lange's are geared more for women with narrow feet. Can I assume that if I buy a decent pair of ski boots (such as the Lange Exclusive 90) that I can spend some money to have them custom fitted to accomodate for my overpronation and have better performance and happier feet?

Salomon Idol Origins Ski Boot - Women's

Actually, I have a question about my old Salomon boots ...they were Evolution 9.1 and I bought them in 1995 to heli ski. I loved these boots they were some of the original built for women boots and the fit was awesome. I usually ski 1 week out of the year since I now live in the south. On Feb 14,2009 I was skiing at Snowshoe down Cupp Run after just completing Shay a double black diamond and I had no falls and about 1/3 of the way down the run, it felt like I caught an edge and just sat down. To my shock, the entire sole of the boot remained in the binding and the upper was separated. The inner boot support was on the slope, The entire boot then split over the top of the foot. I have usually skied the edges and cruise at good speeds and this really was unsettling that my boot "blew up" for such a minor turn. What happened? What boot would be similar since I am not sure I really want to rent boots? I do not believe that I have trated these boots badly...I have never seen this.
