I tried on the Technica Attiva Pro 80 and they still felt a little wide at the front of the foot. They were fine at the heel and calf. The ski shop put in a super feet liner for me. The Attiva Pro 90 fit was narrower and fit better in the front, but I don't want such a stiff, advanced boot. I am a high intermediate to low advanced level skier with freakishly long skinny flat feet and narrow calves. Now for my question... I understand that the Lange's are geared more for women with narrow feet. I loved these boots they were some of the original built for women boots and the fit was awesome. I usually ski 1 week out of the year since I now live in the south. On Feb 14,2009 I was skiing at Snowshoe down Cupp Run after just completing Shay a double black diamond and I had no falls and about 1/3 of the way down the run, it felt like I caught an edge and just sat down. To my shock, the entire sole of the boot remained in the binding and the upper was separated. The inner boot support was on the slope, The entire boot then split over the top of the foot. I have usually skied the edges and cruise at good speeds and this really was unsettling that my boot "blew up" for such a minor turn. What happened? What boot would be similar since I am not sure I really want to rent boots?
