She is an intermediate skier who rarely leaves the long groomers. Her boots kill her calves and shins. Which women's boot would be most appropriate? Or, should she try mens boots?

Rossignol Bandit B100-Quad Alpine Ski

I'm a fairly advanced skier...except on powder. OK, gotta learn that yet. Moved to Co. recently and ski Summit Co. This year I hope to hit 40 days +. Enough dribble. I want some sticks that I can use to cruise at high speed, hit bumps, play in the trees and try to keep with my knuckle dragging boarder buddy when the urge hits to find powder. Recommendations? More, Male, 185lbs, 5'10", will ski from Nov - May.

Im finally shopping for ski's again - been 7 years on Atomic beta-ride, which I originally chose because they were light, and have looked after me through the revolution despite being old school. But I do want more grunt, more width for pow....and something that will hold better on groomies. anyone?
