Sigg Traveler 1.0L Bottle

My Sigg is leaking. It has a very tiny hole in the bottom that I've tried covering up with duct tape, but that doesn't seem to resolve the problem. What should I do? I'm not too confident about the durability of these bottles anymore, so I don't want to buy a new one. However, I would like to save my old one if possible.

Sigg Lifestyle Water Bottle - Sport Top - 0.6L

I read somewhere where the inside is lined with a type of epoxy? Is this true, and how safe can that be? Also, if it isn't epoxy and it's aluminum, is that safe also? I've also heard things that weren't so safe about cooking from aluminum pans. If it is because of heat (pans), then when our bottles may warm up due to the sun, should this be a concern? thank you!
