Marker Baron 12 Ski Binding

So I went to get these mounted on my Armada ARV's and the shop wouldn't mount them because the soles on my boots are too worn down. Is there an easy way around this besides droping a few hundo on some new boots? If new boots are the only way to go, what do you all recomend?

Marker Duke 16 Ski Binding

I've seen some comments about AT-soled boots not releasing well with these binders. Apparently the toe height squishes the soft rubber outsoles causing too much friction and hence, unreliable toe release pattern. Anyone care to elaborate on this?

Marker Griffon Schizo 12 Ski Binding

how is the fit of the binding? when i was much younger i had the basic marker bindings (not from the royal family) and the feel of the binding was horrible--you could tell they were bad quality. then i switched to some salomon bindings and really enjoyed how the boot snapped in and the feel of the binding was really nice. Im planning on buying these but i dont want them to feel like my old marker bindings. I think these will be better because many of the pros use marker royal family bindings but im still not sure, can someone help me?
