Movement Skis Thunder Ski

I'm considering these for touring/ski mountaineering. For now I need a "quiver of one", good for both winter and spring. I'm 5'11", 195-200lbs I guess, and I'm wondering whether anyone has thoughts whether I should go for the 177 or 187. My mainly in-bounds alpine skis are 184's, 100mm underfoot.

Movement Skis Goliath Ski

What bindings would work best on the Movement Goliath and should they be mounted in the normal place? I am 6'3" 195lbs and ski at a din of 11-12. I tend to to load a ski and ski aggressively but no air.(who does not say that they ski aggressively. Has anyone ever bought this type of ski and said; yeah I ski like a wuss.).

I just moved to Vermont and want a great ski that will perform

Movement Skis Thunder Ski

I just moved to Vermont and want a great ski that will perform on the often icy hardpack as well as the groomed and then into whatever. I ski K2 P.E. @ 174. Picked them up last year and had a lot of fun with them, but felt that they weren't quite right for me. I am 5'11'' and 230lbs. I love the whole mountain, but I am not going to be pounding moguls the whole day or dropping out of huge chutes after being dropped off by helicopter. I still love some air under the skis, but you probably won't see me in the park or pipe that much. Till I moved to Vermont, it was the Tahoe resorts and Mammoth for me. I was considering the Movement Thunder and the Head Monster, in the 180ish range but not sure of width. Your thoughts?

Movement Skis Goliath Sluff Ski

Hi. Based on the product description, the Goliath Sluff sounds like the sort of ski I'm looking for. I want something for my trips out west that will handle the powder but will also be quick in the trees when the bowls get skied out. My question: what's its performance like on firmer snow? Most of my skiing is done off-piste at resorts like Alta, Snowbird and Jackson, but I still ski the occasional groomer. Does the Goliath Sluff reflect an AT heritage that might be reflected in its performance on harder packed surfaces? Thanks for any help. Steve
