I'm going to be wearing Goretex burton pants over them. And wondered if they would be good as 1st layer, my main concern is keeping me warm and wicking away the sweat whilst helping my muscles as I ride.
CW-X Pro Short - Men's

I am interested in the CW-X Pro Shorts, Men's. I currently have a 35" waist and getting slimmer. From the reviews I have read, I am not sure if I should be getting a size L or M. Also, I would prefer the Blue shorts rather than the black. So, what size do you recommend, when will you have blue in stock and if you recommend a size that I need to exchange, what is your exchange policy. Thank you. I am also interested in the full length tights. I have a 29-30" inseam. (Yes, I know I am short) based on my waist considerations, what would be the appropriate size to get in these, too, considering my inseam.

Help in deciding between size S or M and Stabilyx or Pro tights!

CW-X Insulator Stabilyx Tight - Women's

Help in deciding between size S or M and Stabilyx or Pro tights!
I'm 5'5 and 125lb, and don't have such big hips or rear, but have big calves from running. The CWX sizing chart shows that I'm in the S range. I haven't tried the Stabilyx before, but I tried on a CWX 'Expert' tight in a store and found that S was really tight and uncomfortable behind the knees, and don't know how I'd be able to do my winter marathon training in these. I've never tried compression tights before, so maybe I'm not used to it. I felt the Expert M size tights were more comfortable than Small and still snug enough. I really want to get the perfect size since I plan to buy both the full and 3/4 length tights together (3/4 length for race day).. But just went to the CWX site and saw that the Pro tights are actually better suited for running than Stabilyx, and would help more with my nagging hamstring/glute ache - So I should actually be focusing on Pro tights instead?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The only thing is, I own a size small and it is comfortable it bunches a little behind the knee when running but not bad. But I was reading the size chart and it seems I fall into the XS category. I am 5ft and weigh 120. I'm just worried the XS would be unbearably tight and cut off circulation. As is the seams in the small leave imprints in my skin for around 15 minutes after I remove them. My legs are thicker. What would you suggest?
